I was considering the following idea to replace some of the TAB text with icons, so "Station" is the home icon, satellites being obvious and sticky note for Notes,
The idea isn't set in stone, but was a general thought to try clean it up so they were all on one row again.
I like the idea if getting things in one line. Icons may not be intuitive mapping. I like icons, but think for nice clean UI with all text or all icons.
How does it look with text:
QSO, Station, General, Sat, Notes, QSL
With the text shortened I can make that work, also reduced the tab text size for the buttons thats more like it!
Shall commit this to the master
In safari it still looks like this:
Still a line break there 🙁
When padding is changed from 16 to 8, it also looks good in safari!
Can tell I mostly use Linux/Windows I'll get it fixed on Safari, guess for that I didn't make things small enough 🙂
Mhm I think both, Safari and Chrome use webkit. So if it looks nice in webkit then it will also be nice in safari usually...
DL9MJ Chrome it looks fine.. unless you have used browser zoom features?
Both, Chrome and Safari fail on the Mac. Maybe its a resolution problem. If you could adjust the spacing a bit would be fine 🙂
I checked again. No zooming factor just standard Safari on a MacBook Pro. Here is my solution:
