Just a really short suggestion that is pretty crude but works for RPi users.
I connect my IC7300 to cloudlog using cloudlog-rigctl-interface, Rather than starting up a bunch of scripts and generally wasting precious seconds I have had a play around with a desktop icon and a script that runs the scripts. It goes a bit like this but, if anyone fancies tidying things up then crack on.
Create a new desktop file and call it CloudRig (for example). open up a text editor and add in the following
go to your home directory and create a folder called .cloudrig. In in open up a new file called startrig.sh and type in the following
#script to start rigctld as IC7300 then connect to cloudlog
tmux new-session -d -s my_session 'rigctld -m 373 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -s 9600 -vvvv'
Close it and make it executable
Download the cloudlog-rigctl-interface files and put them in the .cloudrig folder.
This starts a tmux terminal and rigctld and connects to cloudlog. No doubt it contravenes a thousand rules and there could be more elegant solutions but for a computer numpty like me it works and it really simple.
